At 8: 00 am on October 12, 2018, guided by the spirit of “welcoming the Wuhan 7th CISM Military World Games by the powerful nation in science and technology”, the Meilian Experimental School, CCNU No.1 Middle School carried out a special patriotic education activity with the theme of “Buckle up the First Button of Life”. 38 students from Class 1, Grade 1 went to Wuhan Science and Technology Museum for visit and studied under the guidance of their teachers. This activity was a triune education practice carried out by the school in combination with communities and families. It was strongly supported by 17 party member volunteers from the Machidun Community of Jiangjun Road Street, Dongxihu District, Wuhan City, and also the community staff caring for the Next-Generation Working Committee. Three representatives of parents also participated in the activity.

This school’s officials said that this activity was aimed at students of Grade One, who had just entered in the school. They hoped to educate their studentsthe idea of “science and technology can make a country stranger” by visiting the Science and Technology Museum, and guided them to be determined to serve the country with science and technology from an early age so as to achieve the educational goal of “Buckle up the First Button of Life”. In the future, this school would hold a series of thematic education activities regularly, hoping to form a trinity of social education, family education and school education through the participation of the communities, parents and schools, so as to imperceptibly train their students to become successful adults.
